This site is here to highlight the problems with HF 2449 - currently before the Iowa House of Representatives. This bill is the greatest threat to our public hunting, fishing and wildlife areas in over a generation.

HF 2449 does NOT outright sell public lands, but starts the appraisal process that is the first step towards a sale of property under usual circumstances.
