- State Parks

- State owned hunting/fishing areas

- Wildlife Management Areas

- Protected Floodplains used for flood prevention

- Buffer areas used to protect water quality

As an example, Chichaqua Bottoms in Polk County could be appraised an sold at auction to private landowners.  The experiences provided by the property would be lost forever.
